Requirements
High school diploma or GED
,
2 years of experience in construction, bridge inspection, or related fields for Specialist II
,
4 years of experience for Specialist III
,
5 years of experience for Specialist IV
,
7 years of experience for Specialist V
,
8 years of experience for Specialist VI
,
Mandatory Safety Impact Certificate
,
Extensive knowledge of bridge inspection methods and procedures

Ability to collect, sort, and compile data using applicable computer programs

Experience in reading and interpreting construction plans and maps

Knowledge of applicable industry safety standards and regulations
