About the Role
Chicago House AC is a semi-professional soccer club that embodies the spirit of Chicago, with a deep commitment to social justice, racial equity, inclusion, and community uplift. Our mission extends beyond competition on the pitch—we aim to strengthen Chicago through philanthropy, community engagement, winning championships, and inspiring positive change across neighborhoods.
We are seeking an experienced and mission-aligned Marketing Advisor to help shape and elevate the club’s brand, fan engagement strategy, and revenue-driving marketing initiatives. This advisor will work closely with leadership to position Chicago House AC as both a competitive soccer club and a culturally significant force in Chicago sports.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Strategy
- Provide strategic guidance on brand positioning, storytelling, and long-term marketing vision
- Refine and strengthen Chicago House AC’s identity across digital, matchday, and community touchpoints
- Advise on campaign development aligned with club values, social impact, and competitive growth
Fan Engagement & Growth
- Develop strategies to increase ticket sales, attendance, and community participation
- Advise on digital marketing, social media growth, email marketing, and content strategy
- Identify creative approaches to grow supporter culture and deepen fan loyalty
Partnership & Revenue Marketing
- Support sponsorship strategy through compelling brand narratives and activation concepts
- Collaborate on partnership marketing assets that drive value for sponsors
- Provide guidance on merchandising, promotional campaigns, and revenue-generating initiatives
Data & Performance
- Recommend KPIs and performance benchmarks for marketing effectiveness
- Help implement marketing systems, analytics, and reporting frameworks
- Offer ongoing feedback to optimize campaign ROI and audience growth
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, sports marketing, or growth marketing
- Experience working with sports organizations, consumer brands, or mission-driven companies
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategy, and community-building
- Experience supporting sponsorship sales or brand partnerships is a plus
- Passion for soccer, Chicago culture, and social impact initiatives
- Strategic thinker who can also provide practical, actionable guidance
