Brand Partnerships Manager– Events + Media

Location: Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid/Remote OK) Job Type: Contract Compensation: Commission Only — 15% on closed deals (we provide leads) Job Summary: Help brands get on the funniest stage in Columbus. We’re hiring a Brand Partnerships Manager to close sponsorships for our live talk+comedy show, SlapStik Comedy Magazine, and digital content. Commission-only (15%) + leads provided. About Us SlapStik Comedy Entertainment and Mecha Media are based in Columbus, Ohio. We produce live talk + comedy shows, publish SlapStik Comedy Magazine, and create digital content across social media and YouTube. We build brand partnerships that connect sponsors to audiences through comedy, culture, and content. The Role We’re hiring a Brand Partnerships Manager to close sponsorships and advertising deals across our platforms. This is a commission-only role for someone who can follow up, pitch, negotiate, and close. Important: We provide leads. You’re also welcome to bring your own. What You’ll Do • Follow up with provided leads and schedule discovery calls • Pitch integrated packages across: • Live talk + comedy shows (segments + sponsorships) • SlapStik Comedy Magazine advertising • Digital/social promotions and branded content • Qualify partner goals and budgets, then recommend the right package • Send proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals • Track pipeline and provide weekly updates (leads → meetings → proposals → closed) • Coordinate with our internal team to ensure sponsor deliverables are executed What We’re Looking For • Experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, media sales, advertising sales, or event sales • Strong follow-up habits and comfort with outreach • Professional communication skills (email + calls) • Ability to work independently and hit weekly activity goals • Bonus: existing brand/agency relationships in Columbus or beyond Commission Details • 15% commission on closed deals • Commission paid based on collected revenue (details shared during interview) Job Types: Contract, Temporary Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Unlimited paid time off Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
