THE ROLE:

This is a senior individual-contributor role with ownership over strategic brand partnerships and collaborations.

You will manage partnerships for 2–5 client campaigns alongside their PR Account Manager, focusing on identifying, structuring, negotiating, and executing high-value collaborations that elevate client authority and positioning.

This role is not influencer marketing, social media management, or sponsorship placement. It is focused on executive-level partnerships, long-term collaborations, advisory roles, platform relationships, and institutional alliances.

You will collaborate with leadership on strategy and positioning, but are expected to operate independently day to day.

This is a part-time, contract position to start, with the potential to grow into a larger role as the agency scales.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Leading partnership strategy for assigned client campaigns
• Identifying and researching aligned brands, platforms, institutions, and collaborators
• Developing customized partnership roadmaps for each client
• Initiating and managing senior-level partnership conversations
• Building relationships with decision-makers and partnership leads
• Structuring and negotiating partnership terms, deliverables, and positioning
• Evaluating inbound opportunities for strategic and brand alignment
• Advising clients on brand equity, reputation, and long-term positioning
• Collaborating with PR Account Managers to align media and partnership strategy
• Managing partnership outreach, follow-up, and documentation through internal systems
• Overseeing approved partnership execution and relationship maintenance

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR:
• You have 6+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or brand collaborations
• You have closed meaningful deals involving founders, CEOs, or subject-matter experts
• You have experience working with business owners and thought leaders — not only content creators
• You understand how to structure non-standard, high-trust partnerships
• You are confident negotiating scope, compensation, and positioning
• You communicate clearly and professionally via email, Slack, calls, and virtual meetings
• You are comfortable being a strategic advisor to high-caliber clients
• You are organized, responsive, and consistent in follow-through
• You enjoy working with founder-led, expert-driven brands
• Experience in agency environments, media platforms, events, or partnership-driven organizations is a strong plus.
