Key Responsibilities
Ā Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Ā Assist the Controller in daily cash flow calculations and execution.
Ā Reconcile a high volume of transactions with meticulous attention to accuracy.
Ā Oversee reconciliation for Sales Tax collection and payments.
Ā Aid in preparing monthly/annual financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ā Interface with Accounts Receivable representatives at vendors to ensure timely payments.
Ā Collaborate with the finance team for monthly and year-end closings.
Ā Work with external auditors or investment partners and prepare audit documentation.
Ā Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
Ā Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Qualifications
Ā Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Ā Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping and accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a company generating over $20M annually.
Ā Proven experience in e-commerce, handling 1,000+ monthly orders.
Ā Exceptional proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel.
Ā Experience managing AP/AR relationships with multimillion-dollar vendors.
Ā Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Ā Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ā Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
Ā Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ā Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Benefits
Ā Hourly rate: $31 - $35 per hour (DOE).
