Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Experience Needed
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our small business with ongoing financial management. The ideal candidate is proficient in QuickBooks Online and Gusto (Payroll) and has experience working with PayPal, Stripe, and ThriveCart.
Responsibilities:
- Review & optimize QuickBooks setup to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Process payroll twice a month through Gusto (includes one employee and contractors).
- Reconcile transactions across QuickBooks, PayPal, Stripe, and ThriveCart.
- Generate month-end financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, etc.).
- Assist with tax preparation and provide necessary financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with bookkeeping and payroll best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper working with QuickBooks Online & Gusto.
- Strong understanding of PayPal, Stripe, and ThriveCart transaction flows.
- Experience with contractor payments and employee payroll.
- Ability to identify and correct discrepancies in financial records.
- Familiarity with tax filing assistance and preparation.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
Ongoing work with estimated 10 hours per month.
Flexible schedule, but must meet deadlines for payroll and reporting.
