Responsibilities:
Manage all accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
Track expenses, invoices, and other financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain detailed records of all transactions and update financial data in QuickBooks.
Assist in preparing and filing tax documents.
Handle general ledger entries and maintain a comprehensive filing system.
Collaborate with project managers and other staff to track project budgets.
Perform month-end and year-end closings.
Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within the construction or roofing sector.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with remote team members
