Title: Bookkeeper - Libertyville - Vic. Its schools have received 96 U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Awards. The Part-Time Bookkeeper supports the mission of the parish by ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping. This role is responsible for managing parish financial transactions, maintaining compliance with Archdiocesan/Diocesan policies, and assisting the pastor, finance council and outside accountants with financial reporting. General Responsibilities: Record deposits and other parish income. Process accounts payable and prepare checks for vendor payments. Prepare monthly invoices for rental property tenants and analyze the annual common area maintenance expense allocations. Update credit card and banking information online for various electronic giving systems. Generate reports for various events on an electronic giving platform. Research and verify various matching donations for special collections and capital campaigns. Ensure compliance with parish, diocesan, and basic accounting standards. Assist with preparation of annual budgets. Maintain confidentiality of all parishioners and parish financial information.
