JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Juvenis Maxime is looking for experienced and knowledgeable Biotechnology professionals to guide our mentees in exploring and developing their careers at the intersection of healthcare, science, and technology. This includes digital health, medical technology, biomedical innovation, health data systems, and emerging healthcare solutions. Your insights will ensure our program content is current, relevant, and aligned with international healthcare standards, technological advancements, and global industry practices.

This is a flexible, remote, project-based opportunity ideal for experienced health technology professionals, biomedical specialists, digital health innovators, or former educators who are passionate about career readiness, experiential learning, and guiding young learners toward international pathways in healthcare and medical technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and/or review hands-on biotechnology simulation projects that introduce students to real-world applications such as drug development, vaccine research, molecular diagnostics, genetic engineering, and biopharmaceutical systems.

- Facilitate engaging learning sessions that connect biological science with healthcare innovation and industry practice.

- Provide individualized mentorship to students exploring careers in biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical research, and related fields.

- Guide students in understanding foundational competencies, including molecular biology, laboratory workflow, bioprocess concepts, research methodology, and bioethics.

- Offer structured feedback on research summaries, innovation proposals, and project presentations to ensure scientific accuracy and feasibility.

- Support students in academic planning, internship preparation, and university applications related to biotechnology and life sciences.

PROGRAM QUALITY & DEVELOPMENT

- Review and evaluate existing biotechnology simulation modules to ensure technical accuracy, industry relevance, and alignment with international scientific standards.

- Provide recommendations to enhance project rigor, real-world applicability, and exposure to emerging biotech trends (e.g., gene therapy, mRNA technology, personalized medicine).

- Advise on incorporating current laboratory practices, regulatory awareness, and ethical considerations into program content.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field.

- Professional experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical R&D, laboratory research, biomanufacturing, or related sectors.

- Strong understanding of drug development processes, laboratory systems, and regulatory or ethical considerations in life sciences.

- Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and appropriately to secondary-level students.

- Strong analytical thinking and scientific reasoning skills.

- Passion for mentoring and guiding young learners.

PREFERED

- Experience in pharmaceutical development, clinical research, or biotech startups.

- Prior mentoring or teaching experience.

- Familiarity with international university pathways in biotechnology and life sciences.

WORK ARRANGEMENT

- Remote, flexible schedule

- Project-based workload (estimated 10–20 hours/month depending on volume)

RATE: USD 60 - 80/hour
