Biology Student Tutor/Desk Attendant - Federal Work Study Program
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Biology Student Tutor/Desk Attendant to join our team at Stark State College. Key Responsibilities:
Tutor students in biology and related courses, providing individualized support and guidance
Welcome students, assist with coursework, and provide computer assistance as needed
Manage the Science Learning Center, including answering phones, printing materials, and maintaining a clean and organized environment
Collaborate with the Science Learning Center Coordinator to complete assigned tasks and projects
Provide guidance on study skills, homework systems, and computer applications
Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a student at Stark State College
Earned an A or B in the biology course(s) you wish to tutor
Excellent communication and listening skills
Ability to use current textbooks and computer software to assist students
Work Details:
Flexible hours: 5-20 hours per week
Location: North Canton, OH (with remote work options)
Competitive salary: $10.10 per hour
