Responsibilities
Upload textbook(s) and syllabus to the course materials folder.
Send welcome letters to students and parents two days before the class starts.
Explain course structure, rubrics, class behavior expectations, and communication standards in the first class.
Take attendance at the beginning of each class period.
Grade assignments promptly and provide feedback within 24 hours.
Communicate with and support students falling behind, notifying the Learning Coach and Dean of Academics.
Submit final grades.
Respond to students' questions and emails within 24 hours.
Collaborate with the Operation Team to address support needs and student requests.
Class Size 3-6 students.
Hours vary based on the courses taught:
Teaching is twice a week time ranging from 7 pm EST/ 6pm CST / 4pm PST and 5am EST. Each class lasts 2.5.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree and at least three (1) years of experience teaching or tutoring grades K-12.
Strong technology skills (MS Office programs, Google Drive, Zoom).
Computer with reliable high-speed internet video capability.
High-quality written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to accurately follow provided lesson plans or create lesson plans.
Pay:
Up to $1500 per 7-week session, depending on experience, $500 for course development, $50 per student enrolled, $100 bonus for perfect teacher attendance, and a $200 performance review bonus.
