Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ā Ensure timely acknowledgement of incoming service authorizations, assigning authorizations to correct program site, and communication with service coordination via scomm in Therap billing portal.
Ā Enter all billing information and reconcile payment has been received.
Ā Monitor Medicaid eligibility and provide weekly reports.
Ā Monitor accounts receivable aging report.
Ā Perform accounts receivable reconciliation on a monthly basis.
Ā Assist in gathering and compiling data to generate monthly reports.
Ā Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ā High school diploma or equivalent
Ā One to three years billing or related experience required
Ā Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
Ā Knowledge of Therap Billing Software, and MobileCaregiver+
Ā Knowledge of DHHS (Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services) guidelines and IDD Waiver Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ā Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Ā Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals
Ā Excellent time management skills
Ā Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
Ā Lifting up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and files. Walking and standing are required only occasionally
