Billing Resolution Specialist

Innovating versatile newways to deliver care, Kestra is helping patients and their care teams harmoniously monitor, manage, and protectlife.The Billing Resolution Specialist is responsible for resolving billing issues (bill holds) while identifying issue-trendsand opportunities for continuing education to reduce the number of future billing issues. This role works incollaboration with Field Sales, Care Coordination, IT, and COS Team Members to quickly and efficiently resolveissues preventing claims release.ESSENTIAL DUTIESClosely monitors and takes decisive action pertaining to all claims on bill hold.Ensures that all issues preventing claim submission are resolved in a timely and effective manner.Works assertively, but collaboratively, with Revenue Cycle Management, Field Sales, Sales Support, and otherdepartments to pursue outstanding documents/information while closely tracking and monitoring issues toachieve resolution.Ensures that all metrics pertaining to resolving bill holds are met on a consistent basis.Documents trends and then provides this information to leadership to identify gaps and improve outcomes.Adhere to Pledge of ConfidentialityInformation regarding a patient of this company shall not be released to any source outside of this company without the signed permission of the patient. Furthermore, information will only be released internally on a need-to-know basis. A critical skill for pressure situations.QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Experience Required:High school diploma5-7 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on revenue cycle managementAble to work effectively in a remote environmentProven record of achieving aggressive metrics and outcomesExperience with the Microsoft Office suite, inclusive of Microsoft TeamsPreferred:Bachelor’s degree7+ years of experience in a revenue cycle management capacityWORK ENVIRONMENTFast-paced remote work from your home/workstationMust maintain steady, consistent internet accessExtended/overtime hours when neededKestra manufactures and provides life-saving products regulated by the Federal Food and Drug Administration and under contract with Medicare.
