About the Role: Bilingual Spanish Interpreter We're currently looking for talented Bilingual Spanish Interpreters to work from the comfort of their own homes, interpreting high-volume inbound calls across various industries, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Travel & Hospitality, and more. As a Bilingual Spanish Interpreter, you'll play a vital role in facilitating communication between Spanish and English speakers, ensuring that individuals and organizations can connect and thrive. Key Responsibilities: Handle telephone calls on demand in a quiet home office, interpreting Spanish/English conversations with accuracy and professionalism. Translate conversations that may be simple, complex, or technical, across a wide range of industries, including Healthcare, Government, and Financial services. Participate in video interpreting sessions, being comfortable on camera and able to effectively communicate in a virtual environment. Maintain a high level of productivity and quality, ensuring that interpretations are accurate, clear, and concise. Utilize your language skills to facilitate meaningful connections between individuals and organizations, making a positive impact in your community. Essential Qualifications: Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent listening and speaking skills. Ability to work a minimum of 5.5 hours on Mondays, with a maximum of 16 hours available. Manual dexterity to type or write notes, with basic computer skills. Comfortable being on camera for video interpreting sessions. Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in interpretation, translation, or teaching. Education or work experience in a related field, such as linguistics or language instruction.
