Bilingual Medical Scheduler (Spanish/English)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Bilingual Medical Scheduler to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care to our Spanish and English-speaking patients.
Position Overview:
As a Bilingual Virtual Scheduler, you will provide administrative and scheduling support to our front office team, ensuring smooth and efficient communication while delivering high-quality service to our diverse patient base. You will be responsible for managing patient communications through inbound phone calls, documenting the results in our EMR system while maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to patient inquiries via phone in both Spanish and English.
Schedule various types of appointments for multiple clinic locations and healthcare providers.
Provide patients with information about their upcoming appointments including copay and facility information.
Maintain and update electronic health records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Collaborate with local front office team to ensure efficient patient care and workflow.
Qualifications:
Fluent in both Spanish and English.
Proven experience as a medical scheduler or similar role, preferably in a virtual or remote setting.
Proficiency in using EHR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with customer service and patient care.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
