Bilingual Medical Assisting Instructor – Remote
American National University is seeking instructors to teach various medical assisting courses via the University’s Global Learn Videoconference modality.
Qualifications and Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position must have a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field with CMA, RMA, NCMA, CMAC or CCMA certification with at least three years of field experience.
Successful candidates must be fluent in Spanish and English
Instructors are required to hold a live, two-hour synchronous class session with his/her class every other week for the duration of the 10-week term. Classes with lab components may require up to 2 hours of additional live lecture each week.
Candidates may be required to provide a recorded sample lecture via Zoom before being selected for an interview.
Must be available to teach all evening classes.
Canvas and Zoom experience preferred.
Curriculum development experience is preferred.
