Vesta Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our clinical support team. This fully remote, full-time role is designed for experienced professionals who are fluent in both English and Spanish and passionate about improving care delivery for seniors and vulnerable populations. Compensation starts at $30 per hour.
Job Description:
As a Bilingual Medical Assistant, you will provide virtual clinical support to patients and providers, acting as a key liaison between members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. You’ll assist with care coordination, virtual assessments, data entry, and follow-ups, ensuring accurate and timely health documentation within our digital care platform.
Requirements:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
1–2 years of clinical or patient-facing experience.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
Strong communication, organization, and empathy skills.
Comfortable working remotely and independently.
High-speed internet and a secure, quiet workspace.
Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual check-ins and clinical assessments.
Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and care coordination.
Update and manage electronic health records accurately.
Communicate with patients and caregivers in both English and Spanish.
Monitor patient concerns and escalate urgent matters as needed.
Support nurse practitioners and physicians during remote consultations.
Provide education and instructions related to care plans or medications.
