Position Overview – Bilingual Korean‑English Ticket & Gate Agent
As a Language of Destination (LOD) Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will be a visible ambassador of our brand, ensuring every passenger’s travel experience is smooth, pleasant, and memorable. Working the ticketing counter and the gate area, you will greet, assist, and guide travelers through the complete journey—from check‑in to boarding—while leveraging your fluency in Korean and English to break language barriers and provide personalized service.

Key Responsibilities

Passenger Greeting & Assistance: Warmly welcome travelers, answer inquiries, and provide clear guidance on ticketing, baggage check‑in, and travel documentation.
Ticketing Operations: Use arenaflex’s reservation system to sell, print, reissue, and amend tickets while verifying passenger information and fare rules.
Baggage Management: Tag, weigh, and route baggage; safely lift and transfer items between scales, conveyor belts, and loading zones, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
Gate Management: Conduct boarding procedures, announce flight status, manage seat assignments, and coordinate with crew members to ensure on‑time departures.
Safety & Security: Follow arenaflex’s safety standards, conduct security checks, and maintain vigilance over personal data and passenger safety.
Special Assistance: Escort unaccompanied minors, assist passengers with disabilities, and provide language support to Korean‑speaking travelers.
Operational Support: Operate jetways, open and close aircraft doors, and execute ancillary tasks such as handling flight documents and updating system records.
Team Collaboration: Partner with fellow agents, supervisors, and airport personnel to resolve issues quickly and maintain a harmonious work environment.


Essential Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

Fluency in Korean (both verbal and written) verified by arenaflex’s language assessment.
Proficiency in English with strong communication skills—clear pronunciation, grammar, and tone.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
At least 18 years of age with unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
Basic computer literacy; ability to navigate arenaflex’s ticketing and gate‑management software.
Successful completion of arenaflex’s Customer Service Assessment and Physical Ability Test (PAT).
Physical capability to lift bags up to 50 lb frequently and up to 70 lb occasionally; ability to stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work a rotating schedule—including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
Compliance with airport‑specific requirements such as a SIDA badge and Customs seal.


Preferred Qualifications (Competitive Edge)

Prior experience in airline ticketing, gate operations, or airport customer service.
Familiarity with arenaflex’s reservation platforms or similar airline systems.
Experience assisting unaccompanied minors or passengers with special needs.
Additional language skills beyond Korean and English.
