As a Bilingual English-Spanish Virtual Customer Service Agent, you'll be working with our Consolidated Business Operations and Support Services team to provide critical assistance to customers in need. Your expertise will help empower individuals and communities to recover and rebuild in the aftermath of the wildfires. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries and requests for information, providing status updates, guidance, and support as outlined in approved Desk Reference Guides and policies. Access and navigate internal and client systems to update records, enter contact notes, and retrieve relevant information. Deliver exceptional customer service while educating customers on program features, service offerings, and disaster recovery resources. Communicate effectively with client staff and other stakeholders via phone, email, or other electronic transmission methods. Accurately identify customer accounts and determine program eligibility to provide personalized support. Listen actively to customers, seeking actionable solutions to their goals and problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. Stay informed about marketing activities and provide feedback on program marketing reactions to drive continuous improvement. Complete all commitments made to customers in a timely manner, including call backs, application updates, and email responses. Identify and resolve customer issues with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach. Work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing to a team problem-solving environment. Adhere to company policies and guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive customer information with care. Essential Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or some college training preferred. Ability to pass drug and criminal background checks. Excellent diction, grammar, voice quality, and articulation, with strong computer and customer service skills. Entrepreneurial mindset, high energy, and self-motivation, with a results-driven approach and strong work ethic. Ability to work with minimal day-to-day direction and collaboratively in a matrix-team environment. Superior interpersonal skills, including courtesy, professionalism, empathy, and a cooperative attitude. High functionality with computer systems and navigation. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-change business environment. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English-Spanish language skills. Previous experience working with customers affected by disasters or crises. Familiarity with energy programs or disaster recovery initiatives.
