Your role
In this role you will play a key role in:
Managing and supporting Azure-based data platforms including AKS, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks environments for Data Hub Operations
Providing L2 support and serving as an escalation point for production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsImplementing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes, data orchestration, and automation using SQL and Python
Monitoring system performance and health using tools like Splunk and Datadog to proactively identify and resolve issues
Supporting streaming platforms such as Kafka and EventHub to ensure reliable data flow across systems
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices using Azure DevOps and GitTroubleshooting complex technical issues in NoSQL databases, particularly Apache Cassandra
Working within US time zone (PST 9AM-4PM core hours) to provide seamless support to client operations
Your profile
4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, particularly AKS, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, pipeline development, and automation
Experience with streaming platforms like Kafka and EventHub
Expertise in monitoring tools such as Splunk and Datadog
Proven experience with ETL/ELT processes and data orchestration in production environments
Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly Apache Cassandra
Solid understanding of networking in cloud environments
Experience with DevOps practices and tools including Azure DevOps and GitITIL certification is a plus
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team environ
