As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch support to our customers via phone, email, and other virtual channels. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: Engaging directly with customers to address their queries, concerns, and feedback via phone, email, and other virtual channels. Researching and problem-solving to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively, and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution. Operating with empathy, kindness, and patience to provide a world-class customer experience, while also utilizing active listening skills to understand customer needs. Collaborating with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders across the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams. Adapting to changing business needs, priorities, and processes, while maintaining a flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as required. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in an e-commerce or pet-related industry. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) - fluency in both Canadian French (Quebecois) and English is a must. Ability to multi-task, navigate multiple systems, and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computers, data entry, and rapid navigation through systems and the internet to support customers. High school diploma or equivalent, with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information. Ability to pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual customer service environment. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and other relevant technologies. A passion for pets and pet care, with a deep understanding of the pet industry and its trends.
