Our comprehensive range of services includes HQS Inspection Services, Remote Recertification Services, SEMAP Reviews, Rent Reasonableness Studies, Rent Determination and Negotiation, UPCS Inspectors, PHA Policy Counseling, and HCV Program Management Services. Job Overview We're currently seeking bilingual customer service associates for full-time and part-time work-from-home positions after initial training in our office. This is an ideal opportunity for college students or individuals looking for a flexible schedule. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a crucial role in delivering quality customer service and supporting our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities Operate phone and computer systems efficiently to manage customer interactions. Serve as a liaison between inspectors and clients, resolving questions and issues in a timely manner. Provide exceptional customer service for incoming telephone calls, emails, and letters. Communicate effectively with inspectors and inspection managers to resolve client queries and inspection issues. Handle email requests from customers, including reinspection approvals and customer questions. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Ensure compliance with client policies, procedures, and HUD requirements. Communicate effectively with blithequark coworkers, client staff members, and supervisors regarding project status and client issues. Exercise discretion in matters related to the general business operations of blithequark. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Fluency in both Spanish and English. Knowledge or willingness to learn about Public Housing Agency (PHA) operations and local, state, and federal laws governing subsidized housing programs. Proficiency in modern office equipment, including multi-line phones, computers, and printers. Clear and concise communication skills, both written and oral. Accurate typing skills with a minimum speed of 40wpm. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders. Flexibility to work productively in various environments and conditions. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in customer service. High school diploma or GED. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and abilities. Work Environment As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be working in a hybrid remote environment, with initial training conducted in our Chattanooga office. You'll need to be available to work during regular call center operating hours (8:00 am - 5:15 pm, Monday through Friday), with shift assignments subject to change based on client needs. Physical Requirements The role requires: Ability to read documents and operate office equipment (75-100%). Acute hearing ability (75-100%). Ability to sit for extended periods (75-100%). Ability to perform repetitive hand motions (75-100%). Moderate work: exerting minimal force to move objects less than 25 lbs.
