JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a diligent and results-driven Debt Collector to join our team. As a Debt Collector, you will be responsible for communicating with debtors to negotiate payment arrangements and facilitate the resolution of outstanding debts. Your primary goal will be to recover outstanding balances while maintaining positive relationships with debtors.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
. Contact consumers via phone, email, and mail to discuss overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans.
. Document all communication and payment arrangements accurately and efficiently.
. Analyze Financial information to assess a debtor’s ability to repay debts.
. Follow up with debtors to ensure timely payments and address any concerns or questions.
. collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex debt issues and escalate cases when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience as a Debt Collector or similar role in a financial services environment
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and debt collection software
Job Type: Full-time
