The MYB Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.The Maximize Your Benefits Pharmacy Technician works from home in a call center capacity. Prescription Savings Specialists educate members on how to maximize their pharmacy benefits by taking advantage of cost savings opportunities on their medications. In this role you will:Educate members on alternative medications and opportunities for cost savings.Inbound and outbound callsCommunicating with members that have received letters, text, emails and voicemailsDrive health awareness with members through Rx EducationUse your skills to make an impact Required QualificationsResident State Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician CertificationAbility to speak both English and Spanish fluently (see Language Proficiency Testing below)Excellent communication skills both written and verbalApplied knowledge of insurance processing, customer service or call center processes and practicesHigh speed hardwired internet and phone, minimum speed 20MbpsMust have a designated work area with a door that locksSchedule: Must have the flexibility to work any hours between 8:00am-7:00pm EST and holidays/weekends and overtime as needed.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent work experienceExperience in mail order and/or retail pharmacy settingPrevious call center experience in a pharmacy settingStrong communication and telephonic skillsAbility to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solvingSelf-directed, but also able to work well in a groupA positive, proactive attitude, energetic, highly motivated and a self-starterWork ethic that is focused, accurate and highly productiveAny Humana employee who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency.
