Come join our team! We are currently looking for a Remote BI Developer to join our team. Responsibilities • Create visualizations in Power BI based on customer or written requirements. • Able to interact with customers and internal users to gather requirements and iterate on analytic designs. • Strategize best visualizations to provide user-friendly and valuable data insights. • Create dashboards with metrics, filters, drilldowns, and user navigations to guide users through a compelling data-driven story. • Validate data accuracy against Snowflake database and product SMEs. • Work with product and data teams to capture additional, necessary data points. • Develop calculations in Dax. • Efficiently handle large sets of data and confidently model them into required formats. • Implement row-level-security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. Desired Skills • Ability to quickly pick-up new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment. • Understanding of star schema and dimensional modeling principles. • Understanding of how the Power BI Service works. • Experience with TOM and Power BI external tools such as Tabular Editor and ALM Toolkit. • Understanding of data modeling and ETL process. • Experience with Snowflake. • Proficiency in SQL. • Understanding of the life insurance industry a plus. • Experience working in an agile environment and with Jira a plus.
