They are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to manage benefit enrollment data, support personnel with benefit inquiries, and administer company-sponsored benefit plans.ResponsibilitiesEntering Benefit enrollment data for new hires and employee changes into the HR system for US & CanadaSupporting field/ branch personnel with questions about Benefit enrollmentRunning various reports and creating reportsInteracting with third-party vendors and reviewing vendor discrepancy reports to resolve enrollment related issues related to data entry and transmissionAdministering company sponsored 401(k) plan and processing 401(k) distribution requestAdministering company sponsored FSA plan and processing of new enrollmentsWeekly processing of FSA fundingMonthly vendor invoice reconciling and uploading to accounting for US and Canadian benefitsFiling of employee benefit paperwork and creation of employee foldersCommunicate with corporate and the field with benefit plan offeringsMaintain NE4U Benefits and Wellness pageCoordinate with Director and Manager of Compensation and Benefits on best practices and format of NE4U Benefits pageMaintain and update processesOther duties as assignedSkillsHigh School graduate or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferredSome business accounting experienceStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Power Point); experience using Oracle preferredKnowledge of basic office equipmentExperience providing support to internal and external customersKnowledge of HIPAASolid experience utilizing databasesAbility to accurately process a very high volume of data entry on a daily basisAbility to follow complex oral and written instructionsAbility to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and proceduresHigh level of confidentiality, accuracy, and customer serviceAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and externalAbility to multi-task, prioritize and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlinesExcellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical/problem solving skills1 to 3 years of experience performing data entry into HRIS systems1 to 3 years of experience in a Benefit related role, preferably with both US and Canadian Benefits1 to 3 years of experience handling group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA plansBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionBasic life insurance coverageHoliday payPTO accrualRetirement savings planCompany OverviewDurham School Services provides transportation and special needs transportation services to students.
