Benefit Analyst - Employee Benefits

The Benefit Analyst role involves supporting clients and relationship managers with new and renewal accounts, ensuring compliance and accuracy in documentation and processes.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the marketing process: request census from client, prepare RFPs, confirm with producer requested commission levelManage quotes, carrier proposals and applications until all materials for client and agency commissions are receivedPrepare marketing and renewal worksheetsPrepare broker of record letters for new businessConfirm request to carriers on final plan/rates/commissions, requesting confirmed enrollment materials and submission of completed carrier formsPrepare termination letters to carriers upon Producer approvalProcess enrollments if applicable with respective carriersReview contracts, policies, booklets and bills for accuracyIn conjunction with Compliance Officer, prepare Wrap documents/SPD manuals where appropriateMaintain group specific hard copy and electronic files in chronological sequence for renewals, new business, recap of meeting notesUpdate Outlook and the agency management system with any changes in contact informationContribute to enhancement of client services/sales, be well informed and maintain a familiarity with industry trendsOther responsibilities as assigned by ManagerSkillsExperience in employee benefitsLife/Health license required and commitment to attend product workshops and related seminarsProficiency with Microsoft Office productsExcellent organizational, project management, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment1-2 years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree (4-year degree)BenefitsHealth/dental/vision/life/disability insuranceFSAHSA401(k) accountsPaid-time-off benefits such as vacation, sick, and personal daysEligible bonusesEquity and commissions for some positionsCompany OverviewHUB International is an insurance brokerage company that offers employee benefits, business, and personal insurance products and services.
