Full Job Description
At Daniel's Amish Collections, we build solid wood bedroom and dining furniture, by hand. Our furniture is shipped to stores all over the eastern United States.
We are a fast growing company, so opportunities for advancement are always coming up for our proven and dedicated employees. We are very team-oriented; many employees are cross-trained to help out in different departments in order to keep a nice flow going throughout the shop. We work Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:45, with opportunities to work overtime.
As a member of our assembly team, you will:
• assemble case goods by attaching side panels, top, back, ect., to face frame
• lift assembled furniture weighing 20-75 pounds onto small carts and push/pull from assembly station to staging area (approximately 20 feet)
• help the rest of the team as needed
Applicants for our assembly team must:
• prior experience is preferred however, we will train dependable employees
• be open to learning new skills (we like to cross train with other departments)
• be able to get along with co-workers
• have a team mindset
