About the position
This position is a flexible role within the 17th Force Support Squadron at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas, primarily focused on operating a full-service bar. The role involves mixing and serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and maintaining bar inventory. As a flexible employee, there are no guaranteed hours, but the potential exists to work up to 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position does not offer leave or benefits.
Responsibilities
Operates a full service bar.

Mixes and serves all types of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks to order, following established recipes.
,
Receives payments or charges to member's account; accepts money, operates a cash register, and makes change.
,
Stocks bar; washes glasses and other bar equipment.
,
Responsible for the proper operation of the bar receipts and inventory accountability.
Requirements
Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale, including knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to combine ingredients.
,
Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve issues or seek assistance as needed.
,
Familiarity with cash handling procedures.
,
Physical ability to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 lbs, pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 lbs, and occasionally lift over 40 lbs.
,
Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical examination.
,
Must meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages.
,
Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.
,
Clear communication skills and ability to deal with the public.
