We are currently seeking a part-time Barista for weekends at our busy Starbucks outlet. This role is perfect for those who have a passion for coffee and customer service. As a Barista, you will be accountable for creating a delightful customer experience and demonstrating Starbucks’ mission and values. You will have the opportunity to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
Job Description:
As a Barista, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service and create the Starbucks experience for our customers by providing them with prompt service, quality beverages, and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
– Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
– Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
– Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products.
– Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions.
– Must be available to work on weekends
Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Prior experience as a barista or in a related position preferred
– Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction
– Customer service skills
– Physical stamina to stand for long hours
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
