Bank Treasury / Money Markets & Funding – Associate

They are seeking an Associate to support daily funding operations, manage liquidity, and develop analytical tools related to money market activities.ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution of daily funding operations, including UST and MBS Agency repo transactions and short-term funding initiatives such as CD/CP issuanceAssist in managing the bank’s liquidity and collateral positions through money market transactions, FX swaps, and interoffice dealingsProcess and reconcile intercompany funding transactions under the supervision of senior team membersDevelop dashboards and analytical tools to visualize money market and funding activities, enhancing transparency of transaction flows, positions, and cost metricsConduct cost–return and profitability analyses to support optimization of funding allocation, pricing decisions, and performance assessmentSupport the onboarding of new clients while ensuring full adherence to internal risk management and control policiesContribute to the evaluation, preparation, and implementation of new funding tools or funding-related initiativesPerform market surveillance and provide analytical support for trade ideas across treasury securities, bills, asset swaps, FX swaps, and rates marketsCommunicate with money market participants—including MMFs, external counterparties, and brokers—to ensure proper execution and timely settlement of money market and treasury transactionsCollaborate with Treasury Back Office, Risk Management, and Audit teams to address operational matters and support ongoing process enhancementsRespond to inquiries from business users and assist in routine system and application maintenance as requiredPrepare documentation and analysis for regulatory examinations and support the remediation of findings identified by second and third line control functionsIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen risk management practices across daily processesSkillsFoundational knowledge or demonstrated interest in money markets, repo products, or short-term funding instruments (direct fixed income market experience not required)Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and other trading and analytics platformsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferredExceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentClear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical capabilities; familiarity with VBA, Python, or SQL is considered advantageousAbility to prepare accurate, high-quality reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders and senior managementBenefitsMedicalDental401K plansCompany OverviewThis is not your typical financial institution.
