Bank Operations Quality Assurance Specialist - REMOTE
About the position
This position is responsible for independently performing various quality assurance review functions related to processes executed by Bank Operations staff. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy and compliance in commercial loan payments, insurance coverage, vendor applications, and other operational activities, while adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Responsibilities
Ā Review commercial loan payments and credit line advance disbursements for accuracy and compliance.

Ā Interpret insurance coverage requirements from the Commercial Credit Approval Memorandum and Loan closing instructions.

Ā Review various forms of insurance for compliance with requirements including Commercial General Liability and Flood coverage.
,
Ā Monitor and track insurance coverages for third-party vendor applications.
,
Ā Review insurance carriers for acceptable A.M. Best ratings for commercial loans.
,
Ā Identify appropriate sampling for reviews based on established requirements.
,
Ā Monitor and record receipt of outstanding supporting documentation and escalate issues to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Ā Report suspicious activity or fraudulent behavior identified during loan reviews to the QA manager and internal staff.
,
Ā Perform timely and accurate reviews within the quality assurance platform for required reporting.
,
Ā Review advance disbursements from commercial credit lines for accuracy and compliance.
,
Ā Ensure customer disputes are handled according to regulatory requirements outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Ā Review renewal of flood insurance for commercial loans secured by real estate in special flood hazard areas.
,
Ā Review high-risk maintenance transactions in the loan servicing platform for proper authorizations and documentation.

Ā Review ACH transactions for appropriate handling within the Signature UI application.
,
Ā Review reactivated dormant accounts for proper authorization and documentation.
,
Ā Validate index and interest rate data against secondary marketing rate sheets issued by the Bank.

Ā Communicate review deficiencies to internal staff effectively.
Requirements
Ā High School Diploma required.
,
Ā Minimum of 3 years in deposit operations or commercial/residential loan operations as a Loan Closer, Post Closer, or loan servicing representative.

Ā Minimum of 1 year experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist in residential, commercial, or deposit operations.
