Backtesting / Quant Trading Expert Needed for Platform Review

I’m the founder of a new web-based backtesting platform called Caligo (https://caligoapp.com). The goal of the platform is to make strategy discovery and backtesting easier and more intuitive for retail traders.

I’m looking for traders or quants with hands-on backtesting experience to review the platform and provide honest feedback from a trader’s perspective. I’m particularly interested in feedback from people who have experience building or testing strategies and who understand how backtesting tools are typically used.

You will be asked to create an account, explore the platform, run a few backtests, and share your thoughts about the workflow, usability, and overall experience.

Tasks will include:

- Create an account and explore the platform

- Run a few strategy backtests

- Evaluate the workflow and usability

- Identify anything confusing or missing

- Provide suggestions for improvements

I’m especially interested in feedback around:

- Backtesting workflow and setup

- Strategy configuration process

- Result interpretation (equity curve, metrics, trade statistics)

- Features serious traders typically expect

- Overall clarity and usability of the platform

Deliverables:

- A short written review describing your experience using the platform

- Suggestions for improvements or missing features

- Any issues or confusing parts you encountered

Ideal candidates include people with experience using tools such as:

- TradingView

- QuantConnect

- AmiBroker

- NinjaTrader

- Other algorithmic trading or backtesting platforms

Project scope:

This is a small feedback project that should take approximately 1–2 hours. If the feedback is helpful, I may invite you to participate in future feedback rounds as new features are added to the platform.
