Backend Engineer (ML, AI) - Sky Solutions LLC

Interview Process: 1st round,15 minute video screen with hiring manager2nd round, Python coding3rd round, 4 technical interviews all in 1 day (back to back, 4 hours)- mix of backend and front end Need/Focus: - Ramping up proof of concept tool to be a real production system, the main need is for someone to hit ground running with Python and react - The system exists but they need to pretty quickly build new requirements to integrate with salesforce at large - Ridiculously tight deadline actually- 3 engineers, and interface with some external teams- 70/30 back end Must Haves: - Python- React- production code- AI systems like cursor ++ - Cloud deployments - Kubernetes or AWS infrastructure - Framework: using FastAPI but open to Flask too someone from AI space? it helps but not strictly necessary ***Their last hires had AI company experience, Scale AIKey Responsibilities & Qualifications- Create responsive web interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.- Develop backend systems with Python- Deploy applications in secure Kubernetes clusters and manage authentication and access to sensitive data.- Translate designs and prototypes into high-quality, maintainable code; ensure performance and stability through testing and debugging- Strong expertise in Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience in Python and data manipulation libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPyEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
