Backend Developer (Node.js + MySQL) — Hourly Work on Existing Project
Hi I have an existing project (Barber & Client apps). The applications are already built in Flutter. I only need work on the backend side to add new features and improve existing logic. Tech Stack: • Node.js (Express) • MySQL • Codebase on GitHub Workflow (Very Important): • I will provide tasks clearly and directly. • You (Backend Developer): • Implement the tasks • Push your work to GitHub via Pull Request • The existing developer will: • Review your code (Code Review) • Handle deployment to the server So your focus is development only — no server work. Requirements: • Strong experience with Node.js and REST APIs • Good knowledge of MySQL (schema design, relations, optimized queries) • Ability to read and work with an existing codebase • Regular GitHub commits and clean code structure • Work hourly using Upwork Time Tracker • Clear and fast communication Example First Task: • Implement Zones system: • Each barber belongs to a specific zone • Clients only see barbers from the same zone • Orders are sent only to barbers in the same zone If you are efficient, reliable, and good at backend logic, I’d be happy to work together ✨ Please send: 1.
