What you’ll do:Build scalable platform solutions for high transaction web applications, focusing on Event-Driven Service Architecture.Develop and implement systems that efficiently integrate with existing infrastructure and third-party services.Design, modify, and maintain complex platform systems, ensuring high reliability and scalability.Lead the planning and implementation of platform features, considering multiple data sources and output requirements.Test, document, and provide operating instructions for all architectural designs and implementations.Explore alternative design approaches to determine the best solution, balancing system performance, scalability, and reliability.Work independently under general guidance, keeping the team informed of progress and any challenges encountered.Adapt and innovate upon proven approaches to solve unique platform architecture challenges.What you have:Candidates must have expert experience in the following technologies:Ruby on Rails and/or GoSQL (Postgres)Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestrationDesigning, operating, and troubleshooting distributed software systemsLinux or similar UNIX-like operating systemsWhat makes you stand out:You have experience in any of the following technologies:ReactReduxWebpackTurborepo or LernaCSS/SCSS/Styled ComponentsJestWhere you’ll live:While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates.Working at PrizePicks:The typical salary range for this position is $145,000 to $155,000. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where you'll be working when determining our salary ranges.
