B2B Consulting: Advanced Virtual Assistant / CS (Self-Starter $5–$9/hr Long-Term)
We’re hiring a Virtual Assistant ($5–$7/hr USD) to become an integral part of our U.S.-based consulting business. This is a long-term role with consistent work and room to grow for someone who is smart, reliable, and extremely detail-oriented.
Please note that we are a startup with about 10 members, so you'll be working with a small team and be given a large amount of responsibility and autonomy.
The expectations are high; everyone who works here needs to be able to take ownership of assignments and be responsible for their success and failure.
Using intelligence to improve processes and make better decisions over time is expected.

Independent. You don’t need someone checking your work constantly.
Sharp. You pick things up quickly and solve problems logically.
Reliable. You hit deadlines, show up, and communicate proactively.
Experienced. You’ve worked with U.S./Canadian companies before.
Loyal. You’re looking for long-term, stable work (not chasing the next gig).
Happy with $4.5–$9/hour (and want consistency, not constant bidding).
What You’ll Do:
Following up with clients to get documents to complete applications
Tracking progress on applications and taking actions based on results
Manage data entry and basic client records
Assist with onboarding new clients and updating CRMs
Send emails, follow-up messages, and call clients to ask for documents and update them on progress
Conduct research and update documents (e.g., Google Sheets, Docs for SOPs)
Track project progress and notify our team of issues or delays
Bonus if you have experience with any of the following CRMs or project management tools: Zoho, Close, ClikUp, or financial/funding businesses.
Hours & Setup:
Likely Part-time to start, potentially Full-time (20-40 hrs a week),
Generally 8am-4pm Pacific Standard Time
You’ll work directly with the founder (me) and our small remote team
Growth Path:
If you’re dependable, increases in hourly earnings within the first 3-6 months are possible, and there’s a path to becoming operations lead, hiring others, or earning performance-based bonuses.
