We are seeking an Azure Solution Architect to join our dynamic team! This position contributes to the assessment, design, build, and deployment of SaaS solutions utilizing industry best practices within a private Microsoft Azure environment. You will be part of a highly innovative fast-paced team, incorporating and inventing emerging software technologies to deliver best practice SaaS and PaaS solutions in the Microsoft environment.
Responsibilities
Participate as a solution architect in the project team and provide agile software delivery, best-practice expertise to deliver results for an organization.
Lead the strategic planning and technology roadmaps for a major federal agency.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust Azure cloud solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with our strategic goals.
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of Azure-based systems.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay abreast of the latest Azure features and best practices in cloud architecture.
Ability to perform market research and make specific recommendations including a SWOT Analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat)
Provide deployment information technology planning and implementation support.
Assist in developing project roadmaps for iterative implementations and functional expansion in phases leveraging agile/lean methodologies.
Ensure successful analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing, and implementation of agile software development solutions across the enterprise.
