Azure Platform Admin (Remote)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Use Terraform/Ansible automation templates or manual approach to deploy Azure PaaS services.
• Specialize in PaaS resource provisioning of Azure services including Azure DataBricks, Azure ML Ops, Azure Storage, ADF, Key Vault, Log Analytics, Azure Kubernetes, Application Service Environment, Web and Function Apps.
• Build private and service endpoints, NSG rules, routing, and firewalls.
• Set up CI/CD for Azure DevOps.
• Configure and supervise Azure PaaS services, Git, and GitHub.
• Use ServiceNow for Service Request, Incidents, and Change Request management following ITSM policies.
Requirements
• 12 years hands-on experience with Azure PaaS deployment using Terraform automation templates or manual methods.
• Experience with Azure network configurations including private and service endpoints, NSG rules, routing, firewalls, Azure VNets, Subnets, and security policies.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI.
• Understanding of web security fundamentals, including firewalls and ports.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools.
• Ability to learn and use ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
• Strong leadership skills with a customer focus and ownership mentality.
• Excellent remote teamwork and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience working in a matrix organization with diverse priorities.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
