Azure Functions Event Grid SME
Location: Atlanta, GA or Oakland, CA (Hybrid)
Experience: 7-9 Years
Criminal Background Check and Drug Test are Required
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Design and implement serverless solutions using Azure Functions and Azure Durable Functions with Java
ā¢ Build event-driven architectures leveraging Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Grid
ā¢ Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized Java applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
ā¢ Integrate Azure services into enterprise Java applications ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
ā¢ Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for Java-based workloads
ā¢ Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems and microservices environments
Skills / Experience
ā¢ Performs as a key contributor to an engineering team that builds and supports exceptional products that provide innovative solutions to challenging business use cases, existing system, and operational problems
Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
ā¢ 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree
ā¢ Experience designing and developing secure applications and products
ā¢ Experience developing, configuring, and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
Required Skills
ā¢ Very strong hands-on experience with:
ā¢ Azure Functions and Azure Durable Functions using Java
ā¢ Azure Service Bus (messaging and queueing)
ā¢ Azure Event Grid (event routing and pub/sub)
ā¢ Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (container orchestration)
ā¢ Proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
ā¢ Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep)
ā¢ Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or similar monitoring tools
ā¢ Solid understanding of Azure security best practices (RBAC, Managed Identities, Networking)
Additional Requirements
ā¢ Candidates must have strong Senior Java / Microservices background and Azure Functions expertise
ā¢ Candidates must have hands-on experience with Azure Durable Functions
ā¢ Manager is requesting in-person interviews only at Delta offices
