Azure Cloud Support Engineer

If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about cutting-edge technology, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact in the cloud space! • Provide expert-level support for Azure cloud services, including IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual machines, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud architecture components. • Collaborate with development teams on deploying, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Git. • Monitor system performance and security, implementing system hardening measures and system updates to ensure optimal operation. • Assist in designing scalable cloud architectures that incorporate services such as VMware, OpenStack, Google Cloud Platform, Rackspace, Citrix, AWS, and Microsoft Azure. • Support integration of web services and APIs with existing enterprise systems while ensuring compliance with security protocols like VPNs and network segmentation. • Contribute to the development of best practices for DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines and system automation workflows. • Proven experience supporting cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Rackspace. • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration. • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Chef. • Solid understanding of operating systems including Windows and Linux/Unix environments. • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Python or Ruby for automation tasks. • Knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server is highly desirable. • Experience working within Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and DevOps practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly and efficiently.
