Job Title: AWS Databricks Trainer (Part-Time, Freelance)

Working Hours:
Ā Weekdays: 1 hour per day
Ā Weekends: 2 hours per day
Ā Total Course Duration: 30-40 hours
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced AWS Databricks Trainer to provide online training on AWS Databricks, focusing on key concepts, best practices, and hands-on exercises. As a part-time, freelance trainer, you will be responsible for guiding students through the entire syllabus, ensuring they grasp both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Conduct live virtual training sessions, following the prescribed syllabus.
Ā Cover core topics related to AWS Databricks, including but not limited to:
Ā Databricks platform architecture
Ā Data engineering and data science workflows
Ā Integration with AWS services
Ā Cluster management and optimization
Ā Best practices for performance tuning
Ā Troubleshooting and debugging Databricks jobs
Ā Engage with students, answer queries, and provide clarification on difficult topics.
Ā Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their learning.
Ā Ensure the course content is up-to-date and aligned with current industry trends.
Ā Maintain an interactive learning environment with demonstrations, real-world scenarios, and exercises.
Ā Adjust training style as needed to accommodate different learning speeds and preferences.
Requirements:
Ā Proven expertise in AWS Databricks and related services.
Ā Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies.
Ā Prior experience in teaching or training, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
Ā Familiarity with Databricks notebooks, Spark, and other key tools within the Databricks ecosystem.
Ā Comfortable conducting remote sessions and managing virtual classroom environments.
Ā Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ā Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete the course within the allotted time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ā AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
Ā Experience with Python, Scala, and SQL.
Ā Experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Ā Previous experience in corporate training or creating educational content.
Compensation:
Ā Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications).
Ā Flexible working hours with the ability to schedule based on student needs.
