AWS Certified Solution Architect

Remote Full-time
ImagineX is a tech company that deploys AI-assisted teams to build and secure mission-critical enterprise solutions with our clients – spanning software, cybersecurity, data, and AI. Structured like a software company, not a traditional consultancy, we blend deep technical expertise with authentic values, achieving world-class satisfaction (NPS 82). Our dedicated teams specialize in software, data, and AI across the U.S. and LATAM, bridging the gap between boutique agility and enterprise scale.

We're hiring an AWS Solutions Architect with cost optimization experience who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and guiding the delivery of secure, scalable, and high‑performance cloud solutions for our clients. This role blends deep technical expertise with strong communication and leadership skills, ensuring that cloud architectures are robust, well‑documented, and aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

This is a 100% remote role (must be located in the US), full-time with competitive salary, bonus, 401K, and more.

Duties:
• Design, implement, and oversee secure, scalable AWS architectures that meet client requirements and align with the AWS Well‑Architected Framework.
• Develop architectural diagrams, documentation, and presentations that clearly communicate solution designs, security controls, and risk mitigations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Lead and contribute to the implementation of AWS solutions, collaborating closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure accurate translation of designs into functional systems.
• Apply application design patterns, microservices principles, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Architect and support serverless and microservices‑based applications using AWS-native services.
• Stay current with AWS service offerings, cloud security trends, and emerging technologies to provide innovative, future‑ready solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and security professionals to establish and refine standards, policies, and procedures for AWS environments.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in internal and client-facing discussions, offering guidance, best practices, and technical recommendations.
• Support system integration efforts and contribute to application development and data architecture initiatives.
• Promote DevOps practices and leverage CI/CD pipelines and related AWS services to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification (Professional level preferred).
• 10+ years of application development experience in C# or Java, with strong proficiency in Node.js or Python.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
• Containerization (specifically EKS and/or ECS)
• Infrastructure as Code (using Terraform and/or Pulumi)
• Disaster Recovery/High Availability
• Expertise in building secure, scalable, high‑performance cloud architectures.
• Experience with serverless architectures, microservices, and event-driven design.
• Strong background in system integration, application development, and data architecture.
