The AVP, Merchandising Engineering and Delivery is accountable for building and executing the Retail Front Store Merchandising strategy for the Pricing, Promo, Planogram and Master Data Management domains. This technology leader will join forces with senior leaders from Retail Front Store Operations to plan, build, execute and deliver a multi-year roadmap which drives our business and technology strategy forward. The AVP will lead over teams across technology, & change management, working across multiple geographies to deliver software engineering work, delivered through multiple agile software releases each year. Accountable for driving the technology strategy in support of Retail Front Store Operations, this leader will be responsible for technology strategy, design, development, testing, delivery, and growth ensuring all opportunities to build industry leading technology assets are fully realized. This is a new position, reporting to the VP of Retail Front Store PCW. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Masters’ Degree Preferred The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with business leaders. The candidate will be expected to have the following: 15+ years of Technology Delivery experience 8+ years of performance / people management experience 5+ years of experience in conceiving and building products in healthcare space 5+ Year of year working experience in Retail Merchandising space and related technology stack. 5+ years of experience leading a large team of 50+ resources Experience working with offshore vendors Experience working with technology vendors Position: AVP, Merchandising Engineering and Delivery Direct Reports: Lead Director, Engineering (multiple) Senior Manager, Engineering Location: Woonsocket, RI OR Work from Home Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $185,400.00 - $375,950.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
