The Assistant Vice President (AVP) Enterprise Risk Management Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive inventory of processes, risks, and controls within the financial institution. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks. The AVP will also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide ongoing risk assessments and solutions to protect the institution's assets and reputation. This role is pivotal for ensuring the company's long-term success and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of strategic vision and hands-on experience in risk management.
Responsibilities

Essential Functions
Ā• Develops and maintains an inventory of processes, risks, and controls to support the organization's risk management framework.
Ā• Facilitates business working sessions and help with the collection and organization of inventory documentation and data.
Ā• Assists in assessing risks, associated controls, and their effectiveness, while adhering to policies and developing enterprise reporting and documentation.
Ā• Ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Ā• Ensures requirements of the Enterprise Risk Management Policy, Process Risk and Control (PRC) Business Standard, and Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Business Standard are implemented.
Ā• Provides second line effective debate and challenge of business inventories and risk assessments.
Ā• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive consistent PRC documentation across the organization.
Ā• Provides leadership and guidance on best practices for risk management and control processes.
Ā• Prepares and presents reports on risk management activities and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
Ā• Stays updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively adjust strategies and processes.
Ā• Develops and maintains process maps to show end-to-end process flows of documented PRC processes.
Ā• Identifies process deficiencies and escalates applicable issues to management.
Ā• Assists in the transition of PRC documentation into the Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) system of record, from business requirements to user acceptance testing and implementation.
Ā• All other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements
Ā• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
Ā• A minimum of 3 years' experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, and process improvement within a financial institution.
Ā• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards.
Ā• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ā• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
Ā• Proven leadership and organizational skills.

Preferred Requirements
Ā• A Post Graduate Degree or Industry Qualification preferred.
Ā• Moderate to strong working knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and services.
Ā• Understanding of risk management concepts and principles including Enterprise Risk Management and Third-Party Risk
Ā• Strong analytical, data, problem-solving and decision-making skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ā• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ā• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
Ā• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, and other programming skills.
Ā• Position will require occasional travel.
Background & EEO Statement

Salary Range: $98,662 -$150,336 Annually
