Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): Virginia

This position provides lead support for the Loan Operations division responsible for the expeditious and accurate completion of loan applications by reviewing and processing loan applications, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry into all systems. Prepares standardized and non-standardized reports and journals to communicate information about financial transactions. Reconciles routine and non-routine standardized data and general accounts in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies. Provides input and support to special initiatives and audits and aids period-end processes to assist in closing the books. Acts as Lead.

Responsibilities
• Loan Closing - Prepares booking documents used by Loan Operations for onboarding loans to receivable systems. Collaborates with UW&RM to ensure outside counsel document preparation, that the loan is appropriately collateralized and documented before releasing funds, that closings go smoothly settle accurately, and ensuring all closing documents are delivered. Meets and discusses loan specifications with borrowers, lenders, and other middlemen during this process. Researches and provides routine and non-routine resolution of loan issues, questions, and standards. Works with team members in the identification and resolution of document exceptions. Addresses errors, discrepancies, and variances encountered in different applications and software. Maintains and enters information into the systems. Collaborates with teams in performing month-end close activities and may provide support to systems that includes upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting. Aggregates feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities, which may include suggestions for new products and services. Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction Troubleshoots issues and complaints involving internal and external parties.
• Business Support - Supports others to ensure that the platforms are functioning properly to support timely close, and external and internal reporting requirements. May assist with process and system changes and testing including upgrades and updates. Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Loan documentation prep, review and/or loan processing. Basic financial reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Loan documentation prep, review and/or loan processing. Basic financial reporting

Preferred
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations
• 2 years of Titling experience
• Asset Based Lending, Capital Equipment Finance
• Banking, Finance Experience
• Licensed Notary

The base pay for this position is generally between $73,000.00 and $90,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
