The role requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise wide. The AVP will report directly to the Vice President of Pharmacy Business Improvement.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Lead an organization of 35-40 associates, including approximately 4 direct reports.Deliver new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives.Complete and/or coordinate implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team.Make decisions typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes.Develop and implement strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy.Deliver and execute on the IT portfolio spend.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.8 or more years of direct leadership experience.Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments.Experience facilitating cross-functional and collaborative teams' efforts.Relationship management experience.Experience working in a matrixed environment.Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies.Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.Pharmacy related experience.Additional InformationWork-At-Home location is flexible and remote, anywhere across the US. Requires approximately 10% travel as business needs dictate.Work-At-Home Requirements:To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested; Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership; Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense; Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job; Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.COVID Policy:We are a healthcare company committed to putting health and safety first for our members, patients, associates, and the communities we serve. Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
