To do that, we need high-quality transcriptions of real Air Traffic Control (ATC) and pilot communications. This is not generic transcription. • Organization: Alignerr (Powered by Labelbox) • Position: Aviation Communications Transcriber (ATC) • Location: Remote • Type: Hourly / Task-based Contract • Compensation: $20-30 /hour • Commitment: 10-40 hours/week This Project Requires • Understanding aviation phraseology • Accurately capturing fast, noisy, real-world radio communications • Extreme attention to detail Your work will directly help improve AI systems used in aviation safety and autonomy. What You’ll Do • Transcribe real-world Air Traffic Control (ATC) ↔ pilot audio recordings • Carefully label speakers, callsigns, instructions, and responses • Correctly capture aviation terminology, abbreviations, and phraseology • Work on task-based assignments at your own pace • Meet quality and accuracy standards (this is critical) Who This Is For This is ideal if you are: • A pilot, student pilot, Air Traffic Controller (ATC), or aviation professional • An aviation enthusiast who regularly listens to ATC • Someone who understands aviation radio communications and phraseology • Extremely detail-oriented and patient with audio work You do not need to be a professional transcriptionist — but you do need to understand aviation comms.
