Automation Tester (Remote – US)

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale federal IT modernization program, supporting one of the biggest enterprise portfolios in the U.S. public sector. You will join a collaborative QA team focused on designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications used by thousands of end users. This position blends advanced test automation, CI/CD integration, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of critical business applications. It is a fully remote role within the continental U.S., ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and driving continuous improvement in software quality. Accountabilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications using industry-standard frameworks and tools. • Create and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and data for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid feedback. • Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution. • Translate business processes into test scenarios by working closely with business analysts and stakeholders. • Generate test results, coverage metrics, and quality reports for key stakeholders. • Promote QA best practices, maintain test documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational and federal standards. • Perform manual testing when necessary to validate complex scenarios and supplement automation efforts. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in test automation, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 products. • Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, EasyRepro, or RSAT. • Hands-on experience with scripting languages (C#, JavaScript, PowerShell) for test automation. • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, modules, and business processes. • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. • Additional qualifications that are a plus: experience with Microsoft Power Platform, API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI), performance/load testing, Agile/Scrum environments, Microsoft QA or Dynamics certifications, and prior experience supporting VA or other federal agencies.
