Automation Test Architect - Bloomington, IL (Remote)
Role description
• Lead and administer testing tools and platforms ensuring availability configuration governance and operational support
• Own test outcomes end to end including planning execution defect management reporting and quality signoff
• Provide technical leadership mentoring and coaching to testers and quality engineers across teams
• Define refine and drive adoption of effective testing practices standards and frameworks across the organization
• Guide teams in test strategy test planning estimation and risk based testing for complex initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Developers Product Owners Scrum Masters and Architects to ensure quality is built in early
• Track analyse and communicate quality metrics risks and recommendations to leadership stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and Center of Excellence CoE activities where applicable
Primary Skills Mandatory
• Senior level experience in test leadership and quality ownership
• Should have experience in any of the Framework Robot Framework/Python, Selenium/Java, Playwright.
• Should have experience in any of the Programming Lang- Java/JS/TS/Python.
• Test tool administration and support test management execution reporting tools.
• Strong expertise in manual and automation testing practices
• Ability to mentor coach and guide test teams
• Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, test strategy and test governance
